The new model is likely on display, the old model is likely on third shelf requiring a ladder. My location had maybe 15 and employees didnt have a clue

mine was opposite, the old model was where you could reach it but labeled as 149.99. My local HD is never good for marking things clearance when they are.

Got 1 in Syosset NY (Long Island). There are 12 more on the upper storage rack in Gardening. They have 6 of the newer ones. Slight difference in the size of the box. The definitive difference is that the one that is reduced is 40 gallons per charge and the newer version claims 45 gallons per charge.

Old box is more rectangle with a lot more black on package. New is mostly green and square.

Couldn't get my Home Depot to help. They just coffee and cussed as if I was bothering them to help me. Said they had 16 but I got tired of going round and round with employees who would rather not help.

Went to the syosset one today (passed on commack). Totally not expired... They had at least 10 more left on the very top shelf. As RG3 stated... Get the 40 gallon per charge ones. Quite busy there today (Sunday), but otherwise no issue. Thanks OP.
