And yes there is a difference. I ran regular Platinum twice and had a noisy valvetrain. Did the Ultra Platinum in between...nice and quiet. Test vehicle: 2005 Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix 250k miles.

With less people driving, it's a shame they don't come up with deeper discounts like they had a year ago. I stocked up on these when they were about $14/ea with S&S (yes Ultra Platinum).. Regardless, this is still a good price for a high quality oil. I use this in my Hemi (Jeep) since it's highly recommended online in various forums.
