144Hz 1440p VA Panel from Mono is $199 now too; three HDMI ports (2.0 included) and a display port.

If IPS is a must and you don't want 144Hz then Dell also has this at $199

https://www.dell.com/en-us/member.../210-axko/

The fact that the AOC uses 38W to power it means the Dell (19W) will be cheaper within the first year of use. The Dell also has higher nits and more ports.
I'd hit it

how is this compared to dell S2721D, i have been holding out for the S2721DS model to go on sale again at 199. I am just wondering if there is a big enough difference? Anyone with insights/thoughts. Looking to get 2 monitors for WFH setup.

thanks,

Bought 2 of these last time and really like them for the price. May buy another one for work since they only provided a 22" screen.

I have 1 and it's good for the price. My only gripe was that the all the hdmi, display port and power plug are directly under the vesa mount, facing sticking out so when I tried to mount it the bracket covered the whole port section. Picture quality is very nice for price point. It's not dim at all idk what it is with people and super bright screens but my daughter asked me to turn the brightness down when I gave it to her. I ended up getting the 29' gaming monitor for myself and almost like the 27' better.

Thanks for the info. Which is preferred? 144hz or Freesync?

The 144Hz has freesync and is a gaming monitor. The monitor posted here is more of a secondary borderless monitor. The other monitor I posted just has better specs across the board but cost slightly more and isn't borderless.

It's all preference and application.

Same though a 2 monitor mount seems to be a better option to free up desk space.
