Unbranded EVGA or something like that. I will definitely say that HP is not going to put in the top tier model cards for these so....just realize that. Its just going to be a 3070 though so I wouldnt worry too much.
ok thanks
I wasn't concerned about it being top end, just maybe bottom end with poor cooling etc. Girlfriend ordered a prebuild for her son with a 2060 and its about half the size of most 2060's I have seen.

I am wondering from the previous thread/deal, did they get their orders roughly on time?

Damn. I just bought a Dell G5 yesterday with an Intel i5-10400f and *2070* Super for $983.

With the Ryzen 5 3600 (comparable to the i5-10400f), 16 GB RAM, and WiFi 6, this comes up to 1,276. The 3070 is a better card, but not sure if it's $300 better for my needs.

Anyone have thoughts on whether it's worth it to cancel the Dell and get this?

The best deal is the one that depreciates best.

A 3070 will be worth more money, longer. That's my 2 cents. Same with iPhone, same with some brands of cars like Toyota. But I'd never tell you to spend $300 to just to depreciate better.

Could I throw a 5600X into this at some point or is it unlikely the BIOS will support it?

HP site has some bugs. Log out, follow the steps to select your config; apply coupon and then login. It should say something along the lines of "Your price in cart has changed".

Also try "Incognito Mode" maybe

Maybe I bought the last one. Too good of a deal to pass up, you usually can't stack coupons with EPP. No idea what I'll do with a Ryzen 3500 pc once I swap the GPU into my main PC.

Whoa, that G5 sounds like an awesome deal. Could you please post a link or help me figure out how to get that deal?

NVIDIA recommends a 650W PSU for the RTX 3070. This system only comes with a 500W PSU so its likely if you start gaming you will run into many shutdowns. This of course if you aren't buying this just for the card.
