Just be careful, I got screwed with the Google Pay 20% cash back on REI. I had two items in the cart and they were charged separately at checkout... And, of course, the lowest priced item ended up getting the 20% off since it was charged first... So instead of getting 20% off my entire checkout, I only got it off the smallest item
Google pay has extra 20% cash back up to $50 (250 in single payment) on rei website or in store.
You should probably choose either to get smashed or check out any slickdeals, but never both..

I have this jacket, I bought it at an REI garage sale before the pandemic, for $30, basically unworn.
It's actually a great jacket, and at this price I'd recommend buying for anyone that has a need for a very warm, relatively light, waterproof jacket.I've used it a lot in walking the dogs during the winter, especially when it's just above freezing and it's very cold and raining. I've also found it to be very well made and expect it to last for many years.
I've never once had an issue with the zippers. the sleeve velcro is great for use with gloves (ie while skiing/snowboarding). The hood itself is also insulated which is great.
Was looking at the black, but that two tone is pretty rough imo. Not really interested in the dark brownish green either. Oh well. Seems like a good coat though.

I own the green jacket. Definitely more green than brown.
Warm jacket that suits a lot of uses but won't win any beauty contests.
Glad I purchased this one months ago. As stated in this thread already, it is one of the good ones. Very solid, waterproof down jacket that's great at blocking out the wind too. Reliable and not bad looking at all, just not super "stylin'". When the weather gets nasty it's great having this one around! It's also light, making it easy to take with you.
I read somewhere else that the deal with with zipper is that you've got to make sure it "clicks" in place at the bottom before trying to zip it up. That's been true for me and once you have that figured out it works every time.
Amazing jacket. I've worn it for a couple winters. Very warm and lightweight. Zippers aren't the best but if you're careful zipping you shouldn't have any issues. I bought it for about $175 and thought it was worth that price. One nice thing about this down jacket is that's it waterproof.

I own it. Zero issues with the zipper.
