yeah this is weird to me, unless it's somehow measuring differently than my uplift. I'm average height and in the lowered position my uplift is at 24.5" and that's with my chair at near max height and a footrest.

Looks like they raised the price of the one with memory pre-sets 10 dollars. I placed an order earlier when they only had 2 options, black or white, and the picture showed the option with memory. My SKU says "Quick Install Desk-E9B", hopefully they send the right one.

Some people prefer their own table-top and solid wood is heavy. Some might want to mount their desktop computer to the table top so it lifts with it. And then if you accidentally lean a little too much on it when standing...

3 monitors + 3 mounts for the monitors already puts you at well over 50lbs. Given the size of the desk, there's plenty of other stuff you could rest on it--this is a desk, after all. Imagine stacking a few books, a laptop, a gallon jug of water, your backpack and you lean on it and it just falls apart, lol. For a desk of this size, 100lbs is really low. Maybe it's 100lbs of lifting force and not resting?

It's a low number for people who want to install butcher block desktops on these standing desk frames. Also, you haven't factored in a small form factor pc, a lamp, additional laptop, peripherals, etc.

Doesn't say whether it is single motor or dual. If it's single motor, the monoprice single motor frame for $169 would be better with your own top.

Edit: Looking at the height range, this is most likely a single motor desk.

It says "110-lb Lifting Capacity" so that's what I assume. Perhaps the motor will struggle, but laptop, docking station, keyboard, mouse and 2 decently sized low profile monitors shouldn't be an issue at all. What's a better alternative for ~$200 without additional cost like installing your own top?

Edit: I ended up with a desk from Costco on Black Friday for $200 I believe (maybe less? cannot remember) that has been great and I'm not sure it held much more than that.

Agreed- I missed this before I purchased. 28.7 is too high for seated ergo setup. I have to put my chair at tallest setting and use a foot rest.

Well, someone might be worried that someone could sit on it and break the mechanism, particularly if triggered to move while loaded. If the desk is properly engineered it should be able to survive this even with a low life capacity. Also, someone above pointed out that some desktops are pretty heavy to begin with.
