Reviews on both the ac and ax routers on Amazon are terrible. Speaking of which, when did Amazon become such a PITA by mixing reviews for different products on the same page?

Pity, because I really do need one, and the prices are attractive.

TY. In for one.

Been using the free TMobile AC1900 but only get less than 30% signal strength on the 5G band where the TV is.

This will become the router and the AC1900 will become my ethernet bridge.

A lot of the D-Link Routers have similar discounts on Amazon today:

D-Link WiFi 6 Routers Page [amazon.com]

D-Link WiFi 5 Routers Page
[amazon.com]

Perhaps compare to see if any of the others better fit your needs.

This DLINK is mesh enabled (with DLINK satellites) so it can be extended for larger range if needed.

ax21 also supports onemesh. you'll have to use tplink satellite.

You don't really need it, people lived tens of thousands of years without routers.
Not true. How they could locate prey, avoid congestion, and find way home without a router? There must be an earlier implementation of 802.11 back those days.

If you filter down the reviews, a lot of these (particularly the ax1500) have horrendous ones. Keep in mind Amazon started aggregating reviews at some point to make it harder to figure out feedback...

Under "Used" Amazon dropped most of their Warehouse Used prices too.
