Anyone have any first hand experience with this model?
I have this model now. Bought it just 3 weeks ago for wfh so will be getting it price adjusted tomorrow. Overall I like the monitor. Some notes below:

- the stand is a little wobbly. I have a keyboard tray attached to my desk and the monitor will wobble if I type aggressively.

- speakers are pretty decent. They come in handy when watching virtual video sessions.

- the 1440p resolution is ok for text. I have a 27" 4k lg monitor from work and I can tell the text is sharper on the 4k, but the text is still clear. It's good enough.

- i use this with my work 2019 16" macbook pro. No usb-c so I use an adaptor. That means 2 plugs are needed when I dock it. I have an old hp thunderbolt dock i may try with it later.

- there is a usb 3.0 hub in the monitor for other peripherals.

- note the 100Hz refresh is with displayport only, not via hdmi

- picture quality is great. I can't tell it's not IPS, the on-center picture is that good.

Hope that helps.

Edit: I should note the wobbliness is due to my cheap ikea desk. If your desk is a little weak and you're a hard typist then it may wobble.

I'm in between this and monoprice dark matter for $400. Same price but the other is 144hz and one inch less. This I believe is 1800r vs 1500r curvature. So many options!

Thank you for your reply! That's unfortunate about the 100hz only on DisplayPort... is that confirmed somewhere in the specs/manual? I hadn't seen that on the spec sheet. What refresh rate is the max over HDMI?

Do you happen to know the height of the top of the monitor when the stand is fully extended? Trying to confirm if the height listed in the spec sheet is the top of the monitor or elsewhere.

See the Owners Manual here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/pro...N65C-B.AUS

Page 24 shows Displayport at 100Hz and HDMI at 85 Hz. I haven't tried displayport yet b/c my adaptor only has hdmi.

I measured the height at it's highest point, came out to 22 3/4" from desk to top of the monitor. Seems to line up with specs. For the width, it's equivalent to a 27" monitor plus another half monitor. Think of it as 1.5 monitors in one. Hope that helps.

FYI, noticed that the same specification with additional USB-C support 35WN75C-B, is now 480 on LG PartnersMall, if you have access and prefer that.

Can't beat Costco's service. Although u can have the usbc version for a bit more... i still think "Costco" is a huge bonus.

This was FP at this price a couple months ago: https://slickdeals.net/f/14778310-costco-members-35-lg-35wn65c-b-3440x1440-100hz-ultrawide-hdr10-va-curved-monitor-399-99

Bought it previously for my wife, she absolutely loves it. Now I'm considering getting another for myself.

This would be a great size for my desk, but I wonder if I should hold out for a 144hz option? Currently very happy with my 144hz 27", don't know if I could step down to 100hz...
