Additionally, it will be the first roborock to be compatible with a self-emptying base (coming out later this year).

I've owned this machine for over a year now. The best price was $50. higher at that time. It does a really good job of mapping rooms and not going into places you tell it not to go. Mine is on a schedule and at night it cleans all the rooms no one is sleeping in. That is probably 1600sq ft of carpeted and bare flooring. The next day it goes out and gets all the bedroom areas.

I previously owned a Braava 380 that required quite a bit of maintenance. It would also get stuck a lot. The S6 hasn't suffered any breakdowns despite being used probably 4X more often. It also rarely gets stuck. I program no-go-zones and it stays out of them and therefore doesn't hang up.

The only downside to the machine is emptying the hopper. It gets filled up after two days of use. It really picks up a lot of material.

This video only shows the S4 and s5 Max. Is that because the s6 wasn't out 6 months ago?

Local Controls. The S6 Pure does away with the spot clean and LED indicator light, leaving only the Power/Clean and Home buttons. The S6 Has a Power/Clean, Home and Spot clean button.
Water reservoir. The Roborock S6 uses a 148ml water tank for mopping. The S6 Pure uses a larger, 180ml reservoir tank.
The Roborock S6 uses a bevy of 14 total sensors to map and navigate your home. The S6 Pure removed a few sensors to make room for the larger water tank, leaving 11 sensors total.

Picked up the S6 Pure couple of weeks ago from Amazon for 380$. Very happy with it so far. Picks up so much dart and dust that I could not believe how dirty my 2 storied house is. Have to empty the bin after every clean and cut out the hair from the roller but I knew that was going to happen since my house is all ladies with long hair.

So is one charge enough to clean about 2000sq FT hardwood floors without recharge or emptying the bucket. It would be used for maintenance cleaning since cleaners do come bi weekly.
