Thanks, bought the fire blanket to insulate the smoker.
But I'll spend an extra 50 on a respirator.

If I saw someone wearing this for covid protection I would have nothing but respect for the person.

I have a half mask 3M one that was $35 a decade back, $50 isn't that bad for a full face respirator and not have saw dust get into your eyes. I ordered the PD-101 with the industry standard bayonet cartridge connector.

...so they've only been around a couple months?
Sketch

safety equipment is not the time to cut corners to save a buck.
Being promoted on SD by Staff does not make it legitimate/safe...if anything you should be extra cautious :p

Neither mask is suitable for use with glasses, so that kills the deal for me.

If it helps, the fire blanket says, "Made in the P.R.C." (People's Republic of China) on the package.... could not find anything on the masks, but presume the same. The US Flag attached to the mask was a nice touch.... lol

Personally, I believe that I will continue to use 3M products.

If you just have to have this mask, the 101 uses the industry standard bayonet type filters found most anywhere. But, if you wear glasses, neither will work for you.

Lol, the tag says it is a "USA Seller". Clearly designed to mislead you into thinking it was produced in the US.

I believe the 101 model does.... bayonet type filters. It says the 100 model uses proprietary filters that you buy from the seller.

And that makes some sense for using the imported masks.... If the mask fits decent, use the 3M quality filters.

PD100 or PD101? Which type filter is easier to find and cheaper to replace? hmmm

The flag just says the company is a US-owned and they had it made somewhere else. I think 3M does the same thing.
