These are super hard to find an excellent complement to the rest of the range. I literally looked for a year to find these speakers to finish my Studio setup. This is a good price and I would pounce if I didn't already have them

How are these for a nearfield setup? Anyone compare to similarly priced offerings (Micca rb42, pio bs22)? I just gave up my klipsch rm 14 for my wife's office is setup, looking for something to replace them in the kitchen.
I have the R162 and they're quite nice. The Studio 2 series is a bit on the forward side. The Infinity line is a tad forward, but not as much, I believe. ASR reviewed Infinity bookshelves and gave it a positive review for its overall response, suggesting maybe a tiny bit of EQ for some people.
The R152 were designed as rears is my understanding. The R162 should be the sweet spot. They go on sale regularly.

The 305p are powered. You'll need an amp for these. Different animals.
