I kinda thought that the shortage on Switches was mostly over. I mean, I don't really track it THAT closely but they had a pallet of Switches at Costco the other day and I know I've seen them in stock at Target a couple of times this month...

Another vote for waiting for the Switch Pro that's likely coming this winter. Hopefully these chip shortages will be sorted out by then.

I love my Switch BTW.

For those who do not have a Ralph's near them this deal also works on Kroger.com. Came out to just under $405 after tax for the bundle. Using $300 for the Console plus $59 for the Pro Controller and $45 for Smash Bros., it looks like a savings after tax of about $40. Not bad.

Isn't the Switch Pro be upwards to $350-400 being the current expert's estimation? That'll probably leave the original Switch costing literally the same price at $300 MSRP. Since Smash Bros and Pro Controller works on all consoles, those won't change prices either.

I mean if you want the best at a likelihood of a higher cost then by all means wait. If you're just waiting for a decent/good deal for a Switch in general, this is a decent/good deal. If you're skeptical about Switch Pro stuff, take a good look at everything. It's still cheaper than the $500 next gen consoles. If it really is being labeled as the "Pro" version, that also means a bigger price tag following Playstation and Xbox consoles. Then finally the current Switch will very likely be the same price is because they just can being Nintendo.
