Is it worth buying a Costco membership for this?
The deal seems too good to be true ... I was was thinking about the 2070 Super and 6-core i7 .. but for $400 more I can get a 2080 super and an 8-core i7?? This is stupidly good but Idk about the fact that I will be buying a $2000 laptop from Costco ...

It's about $250-$350 less than direct from Dell. Costco always has great return policy. I wouldn't say this is stupidly good, but it's a good deal and probably worth buying a Costco membership.

Costco membership is 60 bucks ...plus you get additional one year warranty from Costco ... for that alone it sounds like a good idea

best buy currently has the 2070 super for $1600 new. open box cheaper.. maybe better deal if performance between 2070 vs 2080 isnt major difference..

Not 100% sure but the 2080 is probably Max Q. vs Max P 2070S. Also, major heat issues with the 8-core intel vs the 6-core. Yes more cores, wonderful for a desktop, not that wonderful for a laptop (Thermal Throttling).

I was torn between the Alienware 2080 Super and the MSI 2070 Super from Costco. Ended up with the MSI for $500 less. The extra everything was not worth it to me, but could be for someone else.

this is a max q version. Not mentioned in costco but mentioned in Dell site.
So this is not worth 2K.
