Looks to be a really good deal for a bedroom setup? Any comments? I'm debating this or spending more for a 5.1 but I feel like that would be overkill for my bedroom
Looking at the pictures on the website, it does not appear to support ARC. I have a similar unit which sounds nice (as I'm sure this one will) but will only use ARC-compatible soundbars from here on out.

No HDMI ARC.
For such a basic 2.1 soundbar, why is no ARC and issue? wouldnt Optical/Toslink be enough and not take up an HDMI port?

That's what I would think. I'm just planning on using this with a smart tv with the native apps directly and no other sources. So I don't think its a problem. I'm guessing everyone else wants to use it as a main audio system or hooking up multiple devices..

I have a 5.1 setup for my room its ~10x12ft and you can notice a difference but would i do it again for a bedroom? no.
I purchased the Vizio sound bar after coming across this ad. Got it for under 75 shipped with taxes. Only a day in but it looks brand new, can't tell it's refurbished. Sounds better than my 50 inch 4k lg speakers, but not quite as good as my 5.1 setup(as expected) but I'm stoked. For this price I can easily recommend to anyone who is just using tv speakers. Don't expect it to compete with full systems, but I was tickled for 70 bucks. You may have to adjust the sound settings but it's easy to understand from the manual. It's not going to blow you away with bass but I have to turn the sub down so I don't annoy the neighbors.
Bought this to replace a 40w stereo Amp and bookshelf speakers. Room is 14x16, and this thing shakes the walls. I put the sub under the bed, and at only 50% power to sub with 50% bass and 75% treble, it is pretty loud and booming at half volume. Pretty dang clear too. Was not expecting what I got for this price. Doesn't compare with my living room set up, but the sound is amazing for 70 bucks. Have recommended to a few friends that ordered them. Looks brand new, but you could tell box had been opened in the past.
Just a warning. If you order 1 and you live where folks may steal your package. This comes in a Vizio box that plainly shows what it is.
