The Cooper Wayfarers are all manufactured in the USA. The 245/55R19 & 245/70R17 and produced in Findlay, Ohio while the 265/70R17 & 275/55R20 are made in Texarkana, AR.
The acquisition does not close until the second half of the year. Today, both companies are operating independently.
They could be a US company but still manufacture in China. I absolutely prefer US manufacturing. The only reason a company manufacturers in China is to cut cost and I don't want cost cutting with something as important as tires even if is it saves a couple of bucks (they never truly pass the savings on to the customer anyway). Case in point, I am currently looking at new camper trailer tires. Goodyear (a US brand) was making some called Goodyear Marathon. They hit the online propaganda train and before they were even out for a year they were known as the best camper trailer tires out there. The problem was, after a couple of years from their release they started exploding and coming apart on highways. They were Goodyear's but they were being manufactured in China. Goodyear quickly dropped that tire and reverted back to making their camper trailer tires in the US. Their current one is called the Endurance and it is made at the same plant that builds big rig tires in the US.

Decent price for some decent truck tires. Sure beats some Chinese crap brand.

I own some Starfire tires and they are an associate brand of Cooper tires. Not sure if the same quality, but they have been nothing but good to me. I'm a fan.

Not sure my brand of Cooper Tire, but recently got 4x $95 each with 70k mile warranty from Tire Barn. Smaller tire though (small car), but good tires and warranty.

Wow finally a tire deal that's my size! I'd be more tempted to bite but I'm not crazy about the white lettering.

You could always just have them installed on the non-white side.

My FJ cruiser has 265/70R17. But, Amazon fit saying it's not fit my FJ cruiser what gives?
I need two tires and this is a good deal.
Question. How to get the warranty and pro rate if I purchase from Amazon?
