Wife got these, I couldn't stand them. They take up space unless you have items that perfectly fit the bins. Then as you use up the items, the bin takes up the exact amount of space.

We have a few sets of these for our pantry and it does help with organizing the fridge.

I don't know if I'd want the 4 of these tubs loose in the fridge - do they sell a bigger one I could put all 4 tubs in?

I don't trust anyone that would use these to store soda cans instead of the cardboard they come in after ripping off the perforated part.
I like those perforated cardboard boxes too but they are too deep for my fridge.

I got tired of not being able to access (or even being aware of) jars and other items that got pushed to the back of freezer and fridge. Measured and planned the space, then hit Marshall's and TJ Maxx for bins that filled the spaces perfectly for my needs. I can fit so much more inside and have easy access to everything, and it's easier to keep things clean.

As for this brand, don't like them as much as the ones I got but they have their place. I hate plastic as much as the next guy, but long term I'm saving plastic as well as food by using less of that.

Don't they know that Tomatoes, Apples, Pears, Lemons, and Oranges don't need to be refrigerated
They keep longer if they are, also I assure you unless your getting them fresh off the tree/vine they have been in cold storage to extend their life prior to being on the supermarket shelf. While they will be fine out of the refrigerator it can extend their life.

bingo.

i dont trust anyone that would just use the long cardboard box instead of a shorter and more compact bin.

Are you praying for his refridgerator to get deeper? If the long cardboard box doesn't fit in his fridge, it doesn't fit.

If you have an Ollies near you, they sell these by the piece and are $4 each. This way you can get the size of container you want.
