Super janky out of the box (stutters and framerate). Pretty awesome when modded up. This guy setup an auto-installer of sorts to put up a long list of mods automatically. https://docs.google.com/document/...nb2VI/edit
I assume that the sort of person how has the patience to set up a VR rig also has the patience to do a little modding and tweaking to make this game good.

It appears that modders are working on integrating the DLC, which should stay stable forever because this game will never get an official update. You can find that here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28850

The full list of VR mods can be found here:

Setting up a very rig isn't hard. Get an oculus quest 2. Get a usb c cable and an okay gaming rig. Then enjoy.

Gpu's are tough to find but I'd you already have a decent card from the last 5 years you should be good

Would this run on a Quest 2 using Virtual Desktop with a Ryzen 5 5600X and a 5700XT?

Thanks for the link to the auto-modder utility.

Just wondering why the graphics in the youtube demos actually look better than Half Life Alyx in VR? Unless the view in the youtube videos are not reflective of the graphics seen through the lens of the VR headset (like an Oculus Quest).

Any comments/comparisons about the graphics quality seen through the VR goggle is most appreciated....

Good find on the base game! Will check nexusmod to see if there's mod list that doesn't require DLC. My modding exp with Skyrim VR was generally pleasant.

Steam has GOTY edition (or the season pass) of flat Fallout 4 on sale for $25. I'm assuming that's all the DLC needed, but would double check.
