I highly advise people to go on YouTube and search for a video of the ThinkPad privacy screens before buying. They may be 500 nits of brightness but you wouldn't know it based off how bad the viewing angles are (even when the privacy feature is turned off).
This isn't a gaming laptop, it's a business ultrabook. If you want a machine with a discrete video card, get the Lenovo Legion which usually costs a hundred or two more.
Ughh, if not for the Privacy Guard feature, this would be awesome. It makes for problems with the display and many people report regretting it deeply.

This looks better than the frontpage deal, do these come in 2 in 1?

Do these come with one of the ThinkPad docks? I know some models have them included

For this much, it should have a discreet gaming video card. Nevermind the ThinkPad build quality.

No dedicated graphic card at this price? PASS!
That will be blessing for this thread from getting too much thread crapping. Go to a gaming laptop thread and brag about dedicated graphics card and there are plenty at this price. I guess you will have heart attack after hearing the price of latest Dell XPS 13 9310 with similar spec, 11th Gen i7, 16GB DDR4, 512GB PCIe SSD at $1400 and then knowing that it does not have a dedicated Graphics card.
Have a Sorbitrate ready and head over to the below thread

I'll never part with my X1C6 and it's HDR 500nit 1440p glossy panel. It's so nice and as bright as the sun itself. Perfect resolution for the size..1080 seems outdated in comparison.

I like these for work, seems like a great deal. My T460 is still running strong but I would not hesitate to recommend this for a work PC, only if you have good eyes though it's a small screen!

edit: wow shoprunner eligible! haven't heard that name in a while lol

Interesting, I didn't know the new ones used that. That being said, I could definitely see the privacy guard being useful for specific roles such as law or medical settings
