I cancelled mine, I almost fell for 100x2 when it's really 50w per channel.

This is misrepresented. It doesn't come anywhere close to 100Wx2. At best you'll get half of that power.

Anyone know how many rms watts this puts out?
These mini stereo amps were bench tested and all put out about 11-12 watts per channel before clipping at 1% THD. That's plenty to drive efficient speakers. Those tests were done at a single 1000Hz bandwidth, so figure a tad less wattage output at full 20-20,000Hz.

seems good but needs a remote control. Its a pain too switch back and forth the inputs and adjust the volume.

I just installed speakers in 5 rooms. I wanted individual control for room. How's the idea of ordering 5 of these ? They will be stored in a central closet where speaker wires are home run to.

I don't need the .1 channel for the subwoofer. I'm running 4 rooms with 2 speakers and bathroom with 1 speaker.

I'm curious how Bluetooth connection is with network closet door closed.

Any help is appreciatedSmilie
Range should be pretty good even through a closet door. The problem is that they probably all have the same bluetooth share name - if so you will only be able to connect to one pair of speakers at a time.

I don't know squat about this product but I can see it's clearly designed for a desktop setup or a small room. In those uses, 50 watts per channel (assuming low distortion) is more than enough.

Watts per channel at what distortion? There is a big difference between 50 watts per channel with .08 THD vs 50 watts at 1% THD.

I have a Bluetooth device hooked up to an Emotiva BPA-1 2.1 amp that puts out 75 watts per channel at .01 THD. It has enough power to easily fill a mid sized room at reference levels.

Their listing is strong on hype and short on details. I don't care enough to research further.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I have the previous version from 2020 holiday season deal for around the same price. I have it running two Paradigm bookshelf speakers and a Definitive Tech powered subwoofer and it sounds pretty decent.

However, the most annoying thing about this is that it automatically powers down either the Bluetooth connection or the amp when there is no audio signal. Every time it powers on or off, there is a medium loud pop out of the speakers. Since I have this connected via Bluetooth to my laptop, then after 30 seconds of no sound, then there will be a pop when it powers down, and then the next time there is audio, like from a notification or if I start playing a video then there will be a pop and then about one second before it will start playing audio again. All of the pops start getting very annoying after a while. If you are playing continuous audio, like if you have Spotify playing in the background, then it will keep the audio signal alive and there won't be on and off pops all the time. But if you don't have a continuous Source playing, then the pops will drive you crazy. I don't know if this revised version has fixed this problem.

So basically this is a $15 amp board that delivers 30W of clean power to two channels. If I needed it is a decent deal I suppose since it includes case and power supply.

It's a chip amp in a tiny box so it won't be class a or ab. It will be some type of class d amp.
