No, it is not. Don't ever use this stuff "in between washes". You should always wash your car then use this stuff. Always be afraid of rubbing on your paint if you have not removed all dust/dirt. You will sandpaper your clear coat.
Detailer is for in between wash or a lube for clay bar. Say you just washed your car and a bird dropped a turd on your hood, you can just spray and wipe and be merry.
I own a carwash/detailing biz and I use quick detail spray or spray wax after every basic exterior wash I do. While detail sprays don't offer much protection like wax, they do add a nice shine and come in handy to touch up anything that may have been missed during the wash process. As far as using in between washes, I agree with the person who posted that you can take care if things like bird poop or small touch ups. As far as never using detailer between washes, that is a bit extreme. I suppose if you have a Ferrari you may not want to, but given the choice of quick detail spray to wipe of bird poop versus leaving it on there until you have time for a full wash, use the detail spray. Leaving poop on you clear coat can cause damage too and its probably more likely than damaging with the spray and microfiber cloth.

It sounds like the spray bottled product quick detailer from the same company. Do I get it right?
