I'm so wild I put an apple in my onion container

Because most of the time you don't need the whole onion and you don't want to store a smelly onion in a ziploc. Also, onions I believe absorb all the other stuff in your fridge and it gets nasty.

Why would you put onion in container? Asking because of curiosity,

To save a ziplog baggie? That's why I put small things in small tuperware. This is after you skin and cut some off. I'm the only one that eats onions so I have leftovers every time.

This is about the only thing that actually stops onion smell from stinking up your fridge. Ziploc baggies don't work. Wrapping in aluminum foil sometimes works, but this does the job.

I use a hefty slider bag for my onions but haven't noticed a smell. I have to stick my head in the vegetable drawer real quick.

I love my onion storage container. I use it a lot actually. It comes in handy when you end up using only half an onion.

Large enough to fit a single pearl onion for your Gibson.

Have you tried sealing the zip lock baggy?

Normally use a ziplock baggie, but trying to reduce single-use plastics so I'm in for one.
