Billions of Colors and Whites, No Bridge Required, Works with Alexa, Hey Google, HomeKit and Siri
I bought a couple at 60.
These include the added frustration of random disconnects.

No bridge required should be a con not a pro. This means you are cluttering your home wifi network with dozens of devices.
Colors better than Phillips - brighter, more vibrant, etc.
I am a fan of Lifx but they can be pretty pricey - solid deal for the BR30s.

LOL, OK. Let's see... I have 11 wired clients and about 30 wireless. No issues in months and months. In fact no issues ever, that I can remember. All of this "clutter" and I'm still pulling ~900Mbps wired and ~500Mbps wireless depending on the device. If you have a trash WiFi network then I suppose adding a few Lifx bulbs could ruin your day. I'm not sure how the "cluttering your home WiFi network with dozens of devices" factors in to this deal for a Lifx lightbulb. This is a good deal. And no bridge is a pro for some people (factually and objectively), whether you think it is or not LOL.
I didnt say that this is a bad deal. Just stating my opinion that for me wifi is not a pro but a con because these bulbs hardly need any bandwidth, so wifi is an overkill. Most of my smart automation devices are either zigbee or z-wave. I still have close to 40 devices on wifi and don't want to un necessarily add more wifi devices.
1. Like all br30 lights, this bulb does not fit 6inch can well. The light looks like a hole on the ceiling, compared with BR40. HUE retrofit kit, although rated only at ~800km, looks much better and is not much dimmer, because the light is not recessed in too much.
2. Lifx does not have a budget friendly dimmer/remote available. Finding the cellphone every time to control the light is not an option for me. HUE has the cheap dimmer/remote costs only $25.
I end up replacing all 1st fl br40s with HUE retro fit kits pre-pandemic. I bought HUE white-ambient light kits from ebay patiently, piece by piece, for averagely less than $25 per light. MSRP is $35. Consider a quality normal retrofit kit is about $10, I am very happy with the results.
