If you have no ethics, you can then jump through some mental gymnastics to convince yourself that you're not a bad person when you return a broken/unwanted product years after purchasing.

Costco's printed return policy is a bit loose on definition so garbagy people sometimes take advantage.

If you ask them, they are being smart/clever and people with integrity are fools.

I will never buy a hisense dehumidifier again. I ignored the reviews of it not working after 1 year and mine died after exactly 1 year. I'm using a fridgidaire now and wont ever use another brand. You can find a good review on fridgidaire here - https://youtu.be/MoYZk2KRL6I

Yes, fridgidaire is the best. I bought one from Amazon. Its a little expensive but I'm pretty happy with it.

I just bought this a couple of weeks ago for the regular price. Can anyone school me on the price adjustment/return procedure at Costco? I've never had to use it.

Is this ultrasonic or evaporative? done with ultrasonic stuff and the powder residue.

edit: good lord haven't had my coffee yet.

Costco doesn't have online chat. You would have to call in for price adjustment.

I'd rather have a Frigidaire but with the cheap price and Costco returns I feel better about it. If it wasn't Costco selling, hell no.
