Nice set. No offense to anyone, but I returned it after I found it had a bunch of non vegetarian stuff in the set. I am a vegetarian. I could have just thrown those things out and kept the rest of the items, but learning resources have had a good vegetables sorting set that I thought was a better choice for me.

Be careful before you buy.

Lots of reviews on Amazon about paint chipping away.

A lot of Melissa and Doug items seem to be the same "discount" as Target's sale $25 off $100, but in coupon mode, so you can buy them individually without adding up to $100

What difference does it make it representations of meat products. It's not as if you're gonna eat it.

Believe me this guy did not have to make the ultimate sacrifice so that sausage could be made. [disney.com]

Kiddos learn fast and ask good questions as well (they are curious about everything just like we used to). You go to a restaurant one day and see someone eating it and you want it as well because that's what you teach them with toys. In short, I can't prove these things, just used my gut feeling to make a decision.
