The camera itself is $60.34, if you click add to cart then "1 Camera (White) + 1 Solar Panel" currently showing as $76.64 https://reolink.com/us/product/argus-2e/
I was also able to use coupon code YTB5E1PRO and save another $3
I have both. I like both🤣 tbh I have almost everything eufy but slowly transitioning into Reolink. I started with ring, bought everything ring + blink. Then realized eufy was better ans cheaper so I bought everything eufy. Then I realized Reolink was even better and even cheaper🤣
I have the Argus 2 for a year or so. The 2 problems I have are (1) motion detection seems to be a few seconds late, even at max setting. Usually this means, the person at the door has already turned away and I only saw the back of him/her in the recording. (2) The notification seems to be late, especially when my android phone is in locked mode. Not sure if it's an android issue or not. Everything else about the unit is good, though.
I'm not sure if the newer Reolink Argus 2E will have a better motion detection response.
I have compared the Reolink Argus 2 to Eufy 2K Indoor camera, and the Eufy is much more responsive. But then, when I tried the Eufy doorbell (1080p w/ battery version) isn't very responsive to motion, even after playing around with the settings.
So this wouldn't work in NYC during fall/winter season I guess. My solar powered garden lights barely even have juice during the summer so I doubt this would work for those who don't get enough sunlight.
Cancelling is a pain as they responded fast but ask a reason to cancel and pressure you to just pay the difference for what you wanted as 2E is worthless to me. I want that Easter egg discount darnit!
I screwed up and didn't copy any of my Easter egg codes and only managed a 10% off. Was hoping for a 20%. Now it won't let me try again until tomorrow.
The app will work, you just wont be able to see anything/connect to anything unless you previously downloaded the videos to your phone. It isn't magic, the camera needs an internet connection to send the video and the app needs an internet connection to receive the video.
Can anyone with knowledge offer their feedback on this brand v. Eufy? Thanks!
I had 3 of the previous Argus 2 and they were just okay, they're currently sitting in my garage as I have upgraded to a set of 3 Eufy cams with home base and the eufy are superior in every way in my opinion.
The most important factor being the Eufy phone app is superior to the Reolink app.
The solar panels worked well, but they require maintenance of course due to rain/debris/dirt build up etc.
I as also having quit a bit of an issue with 1 or all cameras dropping connection sporadically causing me to have to basically reset the camera which also required me to take it down from its mount. I think the video quality is superior on the Eufy but that's also my opinion.
Knowing what I know now between the two, I would have gone straight for the Eufy cameras with base station.

Ehh...... it keeps detecting a jacket hanging in my garage as a human (Eufy). I kinda get why but............... so far the Reolink AI has been pretty great!

I semi remember it being okay, it worked, but the notifications and processing were so far delayed so by the time the camera kicked on to record, whatever the activity was, was over and done with. It recorded a lot of people walking away from my house but never anyone's face.

Both the Argus 2 and Argus Pro have replaceable batteries that are like $35
I appreciate the heads up! $0 shipped extra camera is the slickest deal I've ever gotten haha. I also got the 20% off and got the Pro with the panel.
