I have finished and eFiled my 1040 using TurboTax. But TurboTax wants $19.99 to eFile my state return.

I have already finished all my tax and I don't want to spend another 2 hours to enter everything again. Is there a free option for someone like me? I read the CalFile (https://www.ftb.ca.gov/file/ways-...tions.html) and among the long list of disqualifications, I found:

"You have Health Savings Account (HSA) deductions or distributions"

So I cannot use CalFile either. Not that I think it is any better.

Mail it in. The only cost is printing, postage, and time.

Only do Federal with TurboTax and do state at the CA FTB website.

Or

Just do both with Credit Karma for free.

Bingo that's what I do. Unless you're making bank with a refund, go snailmail.

This will work in Maryland as well. No way am I paying extra $$ to Turbo Tax to do something this easy, especially when I already have a filled out form to work with.
