Just a heads up I bought this last time it was posted and it's currently en route. I just got a notification today that the shipment was damaged and my tracking app says "failure" so I'm not sure how well these are being packed. If the kettlebell is just put loosely into a cardboard box, issues are bound to arise. Just a heads up for anyone else interested

The box of mine was definitely damaged, but the kettlebell itself was fine. The kettlebell was in a small box protected by Styrofoam. It had a plastic band around the box. So, all in all, there was some additional protection, but definitely not the best. I would say, for the money, it's worth a shot.

Nice find. I ordered the 40lb for $40. Selected store pickup to try and avoid the damaged shipping issue noted above.

I ordered the 53lb one a couple of months ago. Arrived fine, though the FedEx delivery chick had trouble carrying it, lol. Good purchase. Nice quality.

I ended up buying the adjustable kettlebell, 7-40lbs.

I was recently in the market for kettlebells and, ironically, came to Slickdeals to see what sites had the best bang/buck ratio. Lo and behold, Best Buy of all places, sells weights! I ended up ordering seven bells to take advantage of their current sale. Three came the same day 5 days after my order, while the others were stuck somewhere in Ohio. The next day (after estimated delivery date) I received two others. I had to call UPS/BB to let them know I hadn't received my last two items and opened an investigation, ended up canceling, and using the reimbursement to reorder the two bells in the same phone call. Waited an extra wk for my last two KB's. One came Monday of this wk, with the other arriving today. Half the boxes came in beat to shit, with a few scratches on the 44lb, but it's to be expected. More surprised the other bells came in relatively undamaged. Would be sweet if the other cancelled/reimbursed bells actually arrived on my doorstep, too, haha.

As a male beginner, start with a 10 or 12kg kettlebell. For women, starting with a 6 or 8kg kettlebell is most effective. Going to use the kettlebell for leg exercises? For men, start with a weight of 16kg and for women, a weight of 12kg.
