I know people making over 150K a year browsing slickdeals to save a buck or two on things like batteries
Know some people making 10X+ that and they have slickdeals app too haha. They still love a good deal.

Yeah.. I understand what you mean, but 20,000 miles come on now.. I don't really gun it too much either.. do you think the pilot pro sport will have better tread life?
I doubt it, if you worry about thread life I think they have a chill mode where it tones down the acceleration/torque which will help with the thread wear. For EV you are kind of always gunning it, that torque is similar to launch control in a sport car, you bring up the RPM to the optimal torque and drop the clutch, but in case of an EV RPM does not matter so the tire are always digging hard into the asphalt. Another way is to try and coast between lights and not fully stop keep the car moving between lights. The static friction + the high torque is a major bummer on the tire life

Of sold by Amazon, then you know these tires probably are end of shelf life which is about 5 year and will show signs of dry rot.
What a load of crap...

I generally try to ignore the trolls but the tires Amazon sent me had a DOT code of 3020, So they were manufactured in late July 2020 (in Mexico). Which is fine by me.

This did not work for me, not sure what I did wrong. I used the
Link, added 4 to cart. In cart and check out I'm seeing $630.12 before tax. Yes, they are the correct size, quantity and declined tire service.

This 245/40r18 tire would have been perfect for my 3000GT VR4, if only they had 4 in stock :/

That's the Slickdeals Effect. The tire was priced $102 at Walmart and Amazon all month. It goes Front Page and then they sell out and/or jack the price back up in one day.
