The sims do expire so I wouldn't hold on to these long. I had some total wireless sim cards that I used for about a year, switched to something else for a year and then came back and tried to use the sims and they wouldn't activate because they said they were too old. How long they last I don't know but in my experience not 2 years.

Thanks for that helpful info!
You're right, they have to be activated by May 31st. I really wished that they lasted longer.
I use this service because its cheaper than Verizon prepaid and i hate the whole credit thing. Works in most place, I'm curious if i can just buy this and activate the plan on my existing account.

Well, you are right they do expire after a certain time (OP said in May), but your situation and example is different. With many sim cards, once you have used it and then deactivate, you cannot reuse. It is not necessarily because they expired. In my experience, i couldn't re-use T-mobile sims once they have been activated and then deactivated even though they haven't "expired".
I'm not understanding the first bullet point on Amazon:
Airtime Promotion: Receive 30-Days Service valued at $35 when device is purchased between 3/15/21-4/15/21 and activated by 5/31/21 to receive Free 30-Days of Service. Activations past 5/31/21 will not receive Airtime Promotional Benefits.
So I have to purchase a phone to get this promo or is the SIM card the "device"?

For internet calling just add an app to your phone off the playstore. Doesnt have to be allowed from your provider. Good for kids have phone to use on wifi. Lol. Comment to above post.

Total wireless is very ridiculous and will not let you use any Sim card that's been activated on another phone. Even though it will work Sometimes. There's been problems reported on Reddit about this. I recently changed phones and Researched this. Since Sims are only $.99, I wasn't gonna waste anymore time on it

You have to have a phone to use this. This is just a SIM card, that small thingy like micro SD card.
