Crossing my fingers to see If I will actually get the promotion.

So I'm in the same boat as those who's order was delayed. Order 3/31 and received 4/19.
Went through website to try activate but its asking for service PIN or CC.
Chatted with Amazon. They sent me to Product support Team who called Total Wireless.
This didn't resolve the problem, but the amazon rep can see the free $35 promotion in my order
so she's working to get me the promotion. Says they will email me within 1 business day
either a $35 credit or $35 total wireless PIN. Well see what happens and I'll report back.

Update: Amazon refused to honor the $35 free airtime. They gave me a $5 promotional credit.

I ordered 3 SIMs to try last week of March. 1st SIM was activated successfully April 1st using web site. I tried activating the 2nd and 3rd SIM today via web site but now am getting an error.

I'm trying to get the second of 3 cards working, but it seems it will not do it because I'm using the same phone. Says that "Device is registered in another brand". I've removed my device and my group from my account on their website, but when I refresh the page a few minutes later, they're in there again.

Well, do I deal with them to try to deactivate the device fully, or just give up on $2? I barely used the first month's, and likely won't be out of the house long enough to need the other less than two months' worth of data.

It worked well enough, and now I know I can't easily abuse the system.

When it comes time to renew my two annual prepaid plans with Red Pocket, I'll know I have this as an option.

What error are you getting? I ended up adding another device to my account today and it activated fine. I had the SIM in the new phone first and rebooted it. Logged into my account on a computer, and went to "add device" on the gray bar next to "payment history". Picked the middle option. It asked for the SIM and after next screen, it said reboot and make a call. The phone rebooted, and I got a text from Total wireless with my new ph #. I'll have to debate whether to do this with a third phone before the end of the month.

I ordered the SIM on 3/31 and received it in mid-April, but didn't activate it until today. Things went smoothly first. No asking about my credit card# or PIN#. They automatically gave me the first month free. I found my new phone# under setting -> about phone. Then I noticed I had no bar on my phone and none of my calls/texts/data worked. Spent an hour on the chat with customer support, verified that my account was active, and restarted the phone multiple times, but still could not get my phone to work. Eventually I fixed the issue myself by changing my preferred network type from LTE/GSM to LTE/CDMA. Immediately I got a text from 611611 with my new phone#. I have a Moto x4 and was using a GSM SIM card previously.

Just wanted share it in case your phone works on both GSM and CDMA.

I just activated mine and was pleasantly surprised that everything went fine. No credit card input requested, just the phone imei then sim card # followed by a phone restart and I was off to the races with service end date of June 28.

I'm just using this as a burner for the next month and had no port-in or any other complications. Good luck getting your issue resolved.

Just tried to activate it.

After IMEI and Port Account Number/PIN, it went to the plan selection screen. I assumed I have to select the $35 plan, but nope. Credit card and billing details. So, just dropped it.

$1 down the drain I guess.

Will talk to the Amazon CC and try to get the transaction reversed or get some credit at least (thanks to the other user who posted this).

Edit : Amazon passed the buck to Total Wireless.

I just did it again last night with my 3rd plan I bought. It worked fine. Here's what I did:

I had the SIM in the new phone first and rebooted it (might need wifi working). Logged into my account on a computer, and went to "add device" on the gray bar next to "payment history". Picked the middle option. It asked for the SIM and after next screen, it said reboot and make a call. The phone rebooted, and I got a text from Total wireless with my new ph #.

Everybody needs to leave a 1 star review if they got shafted by this promotion. Amazon was zero help except they refunded my 99 cents. They shouldn't be giving Total Wireless a platform to commit fraud!

I tried the same steps, but didn't ask me for SIM#, just pay with credit card or enter airtime pin. I gave up.
