SlickdealsForumsDeal TalkTicWatch Pro 3 GPS Smartwatch for Men and Women, Wear OS by Google, Dual-Layer Display 2.0, Long Battery Life - Walmart.com - Walmart.com $254.99
Wow, finally. I've been waiting for sal for months, but then pulled the trigger on used from swappa for $230.
Watch are great, so far, battery life is amazing. Would just list cons:
- Although they have ip68, the word is they could break after shower and warranty is not covering. That's a bummer, with my lg sport I did swim in pool, no problems. Lg were fully sealed with wireless charging, these are not, they are charged via exposed contacts (hence charging is faster, but not that water proof)
- Vibro is weird. It is really soft and easy to miss notifications. Also, I was not able to set alarm for Vibro only, it has to have a sound. Defeats the whole purpose.
Is this better then galaxy watch3 ? or not? what is the difference?
This phone runs on Google's Wear OS software while the Galaxy watches run on Samsungs software. I have a Galaxy Watch which I regret buying because it does not have Google Pay and the Google Assistant, Instead it has Samsung Pay and the god awful Bixby Assistant.
The specs on this watch is tempting, but 48mm is huge!
I'm hoping more options for watches with sd4100 come out soon.
The size is legitimately the one thing keeping me from pulling the trigger. I need something to replace my Gear Sport, which is having some charging issues lately. I'll probably pull the trigger and see how I like it.
Excellent I have been looking for these to go on sale. Walmart returns should be easier than Mobvoi should something come up
That may be true, but I opted to purchase on mobvoi.com when Amazon had their lightning deal on this watch. They had matched the price on their site, and since tax is included there and coupons were allowed, I ended up saving a boatload of money. This Walmart deal is good, but keep your eyes out for when they match the sale on their own site, too.
looks good but i'll keep forgetting to charge every day. i have amazfit mini not as functional as wear os but long battery life. i don't know what to buy anymore. can't win.

Galaxy Wear OS watch is coming. Samsung is adding Wear OS and Android TV to their upcoming products.
Galaxy is Korean Company and Ticwatch is Chinese Company.
Different OS..
That has nothing to do with the OS differences.
Samsung chooses to use and support Risen which is based on Linux. Imagine doing so saves them some licensing costs as opposed to developing a warehouse watch. It also allows them certain customizations.
The watch posted in this thread runs where OS which is developed by Android.

This watch has a energy saving mode that can last 45 days on one charge.

Return policy is depends on who the seller is. Please check the seller return policy on product page. I think it is 30 days for this product.
