Days Gone was probably the biggest surprise game for me of the PS4 "era". The trailers and even the description/walkthroughs of the game by the game studio did not give me any interest at all. I was bored in 2020 and feeling apocalyptic, and it was on really cheap sale, so I bought it on a whim. Turned out to be one of my probably five favorite PS4 games. Really engaging story and characters to me, and the Horde mechanic is super fun and strategic to deal with. I'm glad I gave it a shot, and really glad I didn't miss out.

But yeah it's already free if you have a PS5.

Considering the ridiculous price of the regular ps4 on what I linked to you I suggest waiting it out until you can get a ps5 at MSRP.

Make a hand made coupon for whoever it's a gift for. It'd be worth the wait imo.
