Just got this a few days ago and so far loving it. Only thing is it comes with Windows 10 Home not Pro version. Not a deal breaker for me though. Unless I'm missing something.

Unless you need to join a domain network (and if you don't know what that is you definitely don't need Pro) then there aren't many reasons to get it. Rule of thumb is if you don't know the difference, just get home as the extra features are for people that already know they need them.

Yup. No need to join a domain network. Was more of an outline since title specified pro. Thought I was missing something but after looking at the q/a on bestbuy site they also confirmed "home". Again, not a deal breaker for me 😉

HyperV is pretty important for a lot of developers and not available on Home edition. Apart from that I agree.

How is the battery life? 4K OLED in generally overkill on these laptop batteries.
Right but being a dev, you would already know about hyper v so you get pro. otherwise there are plenty of other vmware software out there
Don't want to drag this out cause I think we technically agree with each other but I can tell you that having used HyperV at work, it did stumble me that my home computer (with Home edition) did not have it available so I wouldn't make those kind of assumptions. Anyway yes Home edition is perfectly fine for the vast majority of users.
Damned nice flip style laptop at this price. Only thing that I don't see in the specs is an ePen to use while in tablet mode like the HP Envy comes with.

Nope. you need HyperV to use WSL and docker. Using a full blown VM wastes memory and battery due to cpu drain. My point is that HyperV provides a unique feature not available elsewhere.
