Extended Performance (20,000 miles) comes out cheaper because you get $15 rebate: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mobil-...t/20971334

"Anything over 5-6k miles is pushing it and you are going to wear out the engine sooner"

That simply isn't true.

Has not been my experience and been doing this every year for almost a decade. Easy submission done under 5 min. Rebates always came and immediately exchange for Amazon gift card (entering custom amount) which never expires.

You are right, but I use 10W-30 per tech.
Might be fine for older car, older engine, worn piston rings. Thicker oil helps prevent oil burning.

I don't think it asks for address. "WALMART" is now selectable under Retailer.

Wish I had surplus. SUV and truck combined 12 qts. Had to use Costco Kirkland in between Mobil 1 promos.

Both are 30 weight. 5 means full flow down to 5degrees F, 10 means full flow down to 10 degrees F. No difference at operating temp, only on cold start.

On paper yes. In practice, debatable: https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums...30.202548/

Keep in mind most engine wear occurs during cold crank so you want to pay attention to the cold number.
