I just realized I still have a Photon Platinum hotspot with freedompop.
Does that still work?
Will they force a monthly charge if I don't cancel that plan?

Does it still work? You're the one with the device, and can turn it on to check...?

Having said that, it'd be surprising if you can still get data on that device. FP sold the Sprint-based part of their business to Ting, and all the lines that weren't ported from FP to Ting were cancelled awhile ago. This thread is about the ATT-based free plans, which FP sold to Red Pocket.

I don't even know my old FP nbr or account sign in and haven't used their service for at least 3 years. I don't think they have a valid credit card of mine, but I guess I'll find out.

Pretty shady of them to send out a blanket email like this.

All my lines were either ported out or in dormant stage, So I am successfully able to cancel all my accounts except one.

The one I am unable to cancel is not showing as dormant, but I had ported out this number sometime back. The account is showing $0.00 monthly charges each month till recently. Not sure if it will create any problem! Confused
The good news is that, no credit card on file.
