For nvidia owners, the key is buying a monitor on their official list. It includes Gsync panels and Certified Gsync compatible monitors. If it's on the list, it is guaranteed to be flicker free w/ gsync.

This monitor is on the list. But the dell curved 32" was not. I have this monitor with a RTX 3080 and I have had zero issues.

I have been doing a ton of Research into 1440p 144hz (min) 27in gaming monitors (and 32) the best two I have determined are this and the LG GL850-B.
This Dell has the better brightness(400 over 350), DisplayHDR 400 (over HDR 10), sRGB 144% over 135%, 165 over 144hz on DP.

I have the gsync version so take this for what it's worth. I love the monitor but it's not without its quirks(maybe just mine?). I haven't been able to get it to the 165mhz option. I updated it's drivers and everything. Used DisplayPort.
I randomly get a line in the middle if my screen about 5 px folded over, as if it's folded paper, the edge of the screen is then not colored, the missing 5px. I don't always notice it. I only have to turn it off and on again and it fixes it.
The USB hub on it is really nice. I run most of my stuff through it. The cable management is nice too. There is a hole through the stand. Stand goes really high and is super easy to move the monitor, but not loose enough the monitor falls down.
Love it, I would recommend it. Just wish mine was more perfecr.
Go buy a Startech dp 1.4 cable (vesa certified) from AMZ. The cable provided is dp1.2 I believe. I have this monitor and am getting a full 165hz and cable is Startech is recognized as dp1.4 and listed as Vesa Certified per displayport dot org.

I don't think these have built in xhairs, I loved the lg 1440p 144 ips because It had a sweet built in xhair that I used for apex. I hit my highest damage on that monitor 3.5k. If you don't fps or have a need for the xhair then this will serve you well
forgive my ignorance but what is a xhair?

Damn I've been looking for a 27" 2k monitor. This might be it. Someone tell me why I shouldn't get it.

The S2721dgf does support GSYNC so whoever said it doesn't is wrong

Built in crosshair via the monitor display for FPS games which do not have them enabled

I totally agree to this list... i recently replaced my old asus 27 144hz (amdfree sync) with the LG800gn (gsync comp). deal (free xbox controller)
They do extensive testing to make sure you dont get anti ghosting. It is so true.

Everybody's experience can be different but my experience with this monitor and Dell was horrible. I got a defective monitor so contacted customer support. They said if it's defective, I need to talk to technical support. Technical support said I need to talk to customer support because it's within 30 days. I was transferred back and forth 4 times. I thought like wow... they really didn't want to send the replacement... So I just requested the return and refund. Good for you if you like this monitor but I don't think I will do any business with Dell in the future.

Just got this monitor in yesterday from previous deal ... pretty good monitor. I originally bought the Acer Predator years back which is also 27" 1440p 165hz and this monitor seems just as good (I really like the Predator, still have it).

I think it's definitely worth it if you are coming up from 60hz or a high refresh TN panel, as the IPS image IMO is really really good.

EDIT:

I should probably add that mine came with a speck of dust under the screen cover in the top left corner. It's not big enough for me to make a fuss over and it's out of the way from the center of the screen enough that I don't plan on swapping. Additionally it's only visible under white / bright colors and if I'm trying to look for it.

I know this can annoy some people to no end though, so FYI.

I just wanted to say that I got this monitor in December and I love it!! I purchased the 32" similarish but it just couldn't keep up with fast motion, it was nice having a monitor that big. I had the s27dg16? previous to that for a couple of years.
After a few days of the terrible input lag, motion blur, clipping or whatever you want to call it on the 32". I had to take it back..
I had read every review site and was honestly about to get either the LG850 or the Lenovo Legion using the same panel.. But kept reading about a couple of issues with each.
Then I luckily read about this monitor on Reddit and feel I made the correct choice
I highly recommend this monitor if you're looking for 1440p. GSync works flawless, didn't have to do anything!! anyone that's had the 32" knows the pain i'm speaking of with that!

I'm using a RTX 2070 Super

Isn't Dell's curved monitor a better monitor?

This link is to when it was $380. But I snagged them for $349 (after tax and bonuses).

I have 2 of them and can confirm they do not have crosshairs. Their "game enhancements" include frame rate, timer, and "display alignment"

There are easy ways to do that with basic overlay software but that is pretty cool I guess
