No Costco membership needed,
QHD resolution (108 dpi) instead of FHD (82 dpi),
curved VA panel instead of straight IPS panel (VA offers better contrast over IPS when viewed straight on)
and no joy stick controller.
Do they have any on display? I have 1080p 60hz monitors with an i7-3930k and 1060 6gb... wondering if I can use one of these as the primary, but don't know that I would like it

I've always seen available in stores with a display but never actually turned on

Yeah, but then you have to buy something from Monoprice. Costco lets you yeet shit into space and you still get a refund.

I have it. It's a nice secondary display, good brightness and contrast. Just buy it and take it back if you don't like it, it's Costco.
I purchased this last time it was on sale for a friend. The monitor we got had 1 dead pixel in the middle-right 1/3. There is moderate amount of backlight bleeding when viewing very dark scenes.
It's still a pretty good choice if you are wanting to stay in budget. And the returns at costco are good, so you might have to do some panel lottery if you want a "perfect" one.
Seems like a good secondary/third monitor. Will probably pull the trigger today.
What's the purpose of a 144hz 2nd or 3rd monitor? Serious question. Not being argumentative. I'm in the market for some and figure it really doesn't matter for a gaming set up to have anything better than 1080 60hz as secondary monitors.

Some people might prefer 1080p, as many people might not have a GPU that can do 1440p @ 144hz (unless you're a miner sighhhhh)

Joy stick controller in the back instead of buttons on the side or bottom: IMO a minus.
Big footprint, another minus.
Low price: a big plus.
But I'd think for another $30 this is a better deal: https://www.monoprice.c
