Doom 2016 is a phenomenal game, but it's also kinda old (even for switch). It should be discounted lower by now. Maybe not the $5-10 i've seen on PS and XB, but maybe $15-20
Doom 3 is pretty close to epic (controls feel outdated though), not sure how I missed that game back in 2004. Well worth $5; main campaign lasted me 12 hours, so far 3-1/2 into Resurrection of Evil (I think about finished), and still one have Lost Mission after that. This is the "BFG Edition," surprised they do not make that clearer as that is a big selling point.
I bought Doom 64 but do not find it any fun....and I beat that game like a deadhorse back on the N64. Not sure if it does not age well or maybe is not a sound port?
Doom: Eternal; really deserves a next gen console or PC. I think if you have anther platform to play it on, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by running on the Switch unless you did not mind the massive scaling back of graphics. One of the great things Doom has done lately is their very immersive and stunning level design (especially the demonic settings), a lot of this awe would be striped out by the Switch's hardware limitations.

Ah! So thats what they meant in the description by: "DOOM 3 includes the Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Missions expansion packs." I wasnt sure if that was the same thing as the BFG Edition.

I played the previous release, Doom (the reboot), on the Switch and it seemed to run pretty well. I hadn't played it on any other console, so I don't have any other point of reference.
Had you played the first one? Does it run any worse than that?
Finally eternal drops to $30. Prob first time I ever successfully held out and outlasted the switch tax ... ok fine, it's actually just procrastination not any actual forethought. Happy now?
Not that I haven't bought it for 2 other platforms already ....

Aladdin > Lion King
It'd be cool to have them on a cart but not sure they're 4x the cost or more cool
