I bought two cases (24 cans). As a new customer, using the subscribe option (cancel as soon as it ships) it gave an extra discount. All told, about $26 for 24 cans.

On top of that, use a cash back site (TCB) and there's $15 for new customer first orders. In other words, play the cards right and you can get 24 cans of this doggy dog grub for about 10 bucks.

Hmmm. Potatoes and carrots. Why pay a premium for that? If these were 12oz cans of human food I bet no one would be interested in this "deal".

There's definitely a premium to be paid for the convenience factor. For those who don't mind cooking up clean protein for their animals, and tossing in easy dog-friendly veggies, that's the way to go.

Same thing with DIY oil change, hair cuts at home, etc etc

Whenever I buy cans of dog food I shake the can. If I hear a sloshing sound I know that the main ingredient is water. It's surprising how many premium brands don't pass this simple test. Convenience doesn't even come into it.

You don't think people purchase this type of dog food for convenience purposes? mmmkay.

Like I said, the veggies and broth/water and the easy part. The protein less so. But for those who don't mind putting in the effort, definitely opportunity to save $$.

Or you can literally just look at the kcal per can. Don't need to use your ears to determine the quantity and nutritional value of the food inside.

Look at it this way... if the can contains water then you do not have to be concern whether your dog is hydrated.
