Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
This is an okay deal if you need a drive now and can't wait for a better deal. It's at $15.83/TB which is over the typical price point of $15/TB for a drive to be considered a deal.
Note that the drive inside this will be a good quality drive. Likely to be a Barracuda Pro, Iron Wolf, Iron Wolf Pro, or Exos. All are suitable for NAS use. Seagate does not make a drive over 10TB that is SMR so the drive is going to be CMR (preferable).

10TB for $170, which is $17/TB was Front Page Deal with 69 score just 3 weeks ago.
12TB for $190 for $15.83/TB is negative?!
I don't understand the logics.
Might be the NAS people went all in to the last deal and didn't have money left and didn't bother to post here?
With B&H Payboo's card, you get tax back as store credits and credit company has to mail the check after 60 days if not used, so it's like e.g. 10% off for California.
Almost got into last 10TB x 4 for NAS setup, but had to wait for the Payboo card.
Would like to hear what drive people got from the 12TB.
