Do you think giving a human Benadryl is poisoning them? Because if you did even the slightest google search, you'd find that you can give dogs Benadryl.
Not to someone else's dog!! How do you know it isn't already on some other medication that can't be taken with Benadryl?
I assume you are the type of person who refers to their dogs as "fur babies".
You just casually throw out there that you're into defending peolpe that hurt animals and poison them? Besides I would never refer to your mother as a "fur baby".

My mother was a coyote (my picture should make that obvious) so I bet you would.
HOA would probably evict me, but would this deter Canada geese? Sadly, they're chock full of lawn chemicals so I can't do the humane thing and eat them.

😂😆 I don't know few things comes to my mind.
People start jumping like we are inhumane humans all the time in our neighbor.
They think we don't know a thing about dog or animal in general.
I have a ranch a 100 acre and I have two great pyrenees and one border collie plus I used to have a German Shepard and I literally grow them up from puppies.
I know more shit than anyone claim to know.
When we suggest people to keep their dogs on leash it's a law too, all the times especially in neighborhood where lots of people walking, jogging and running along with kids, plus, pick up the poop and keep animal on not more than 6' leash and then, floodgates of fur babies come into with all kinds of BS defense and try to potray us as anti dog anti animal people.
Then, I have to lecture them, dog no matter what it's an animal, we have dogs, rooster, horses, donkey, peacock and hens in ranch. Our kids grow up with them, still, on two to three occasions the gentle dogs out of blue bite and scratch my kids, horses tried to throw them and even rooster attacked them. You need to understand that it's animal at the end of the day.
Just few days back someone dog bite a 4 years old girl even on leash as it turned out the leash was like 10' long and girl was just playing in park. He went up and ran away, he is now fighting legal case and City confiscated his dog.
One of my dogs just got over some food allergies, she was sneezing like crazy for a week and a half. I just gave her regular benadryl, The ingredients in the human and dog version are the same, though the dog versions are ridiculously marked up in pricing
I am so glad the sounds of dogs and car doors never bother me. Just choose not to pay attention to it.. it does wonders for our mental health.
It's like when I went camping with cub scouts and it rained and rained. At first I was bothered by the rain, but eventually I embraced the fact it was nothing I could control and by the end of the trip walking in rain stopped being a bother to me.
Sometimes I forget and get bent out of shape about stuff but it's nice to try and remember that how I choose to react to being wet from rain shapes how I get to feel as I live my life. I had a great camping trip but I wouldn't have if the rain had continued to bother me.
I'm guessing you don't live next to someone with super annoying dogs that bark CONSTANTLY for no reason while you are outside minding your own business. Or when they put their dogs out at 4a and your bedroom window is next to their back yard, or else you'd have a different opinion.
Get a dog whistle and give it some hardy blows as you drive out
You can buy a dog noise thing on ebay, probably basically a dog whistle but it's a button you push. Anyhow, push it everytime the dogs are barking. Pita for sure to train your neighbors dogs but i had mine trained in three days. So worth it.

At our lakehouse, one of the guys down the street has 5 kennels for dogs that he raises for some sort of hunting. The entire street has been upset with it...he refuses to do anything about it as does the local sheriff. We have two of those remote control units (one on either fence on his lot) and they worked for less than a week.

Here is the dog version, though you can get generic Benadryl for like $8 on Amazon for 600.
