Sold by AnkerDirect. Lowest according to ccc was 20.78 in June 2019. About 60k reviews rated 4.7. Price seems right, but those of you own this, a good buy?

Have had the older version for a couple of years and it has been solid. Well worth the $20ish I paid for it. Really tempted to pick up one of these new ones.

Yep, these cheap ankers do well for the price.
Dont expect miracles but they sound pretty good and battery life is impressive.

It's a good random bluetooth speaker for $20. Battery life is phenomenal.

Anyways, took the bait. I will post here once I try it out. Came out to be 24 (California) total.

My use case is a speaker for zoom calls which I can carry around. This has a mic and I hope it works well. My existing insignia (10$, discontinued) one's speakers are good enough but mic sucks.

I bought one about 2 weeks ago. It has been decent for the 20ish dollars they are good and FAR better than most of the made up brand named ones. Not a big fan of the button design but I've left it on idling for a couple of days without it dying.

Decent speaker. Everything works fine, although battery don't seem to last long. This is where extended warranty is worthy of having it.
I don't know if it's me or industry standard or just an isolated case; manufacturers are highly responsive/agreeable to customer's complaint, will rush to send a replacement if you threaten them to file an extended warranty.
There is no battery that will last 3 years of continual use, unless you're one of those stupid redneck obsessed in shopping.

I returned this speaker. Poor microphone. I wanted to use this for video calls, but the mic placement is bad, and it picks up voice only if you hold the device close to your face, like how you would do with a phone. Folks on the other end can't hear properly even if you shout when kept on my desk. Amazon as usual is good with returns. Can only be returned to certain locations I think due to lithium battery being in this device.
