The problem with all these secondary services is that, even at $5/month (normal price), they seem broadly inferior to Hulu at the same price point.

Of course it is inferior, it is also cheaper. The real draw of this is for wrestling fans (WWE), they are getting more compared to the WWE network which used to cost $10

OP fix your title, this is not the Plus option, it is the premium which includes ads and cost $5. So basically you are getting 50% off for 4 months.

This would have been a great deal if it was the Plus version which costs $10/month

Be aware getting hold of a live person/Customer service at Peacock is extremely difficult. They have a Chat but it is automated and no option to get to a live person

I dunno. I consistently get Hulu for $1.99/mo and if you put it and only it on your Discover card it turns out to be free 🤣

I thought Peacock was free anyways?? Guess I will stick with the NBC app.

I am not seeing ads
However, pershaps i am in a 7 day trial then i will see ads in this deal.
Peacock has no way to contact them to talk to a live person---or, at least they make it very difficult

If you have a double or triple play with Comcast/Xfinity, this level of Peacock is already included. If you have internet only through them, it is also free if you have one of their "flex" boxes. The Flex boxes are free to any new or existing customer and can be picked up at their retail centers. A lot of people are paying for this level of Peacock when they already are entitled to it at no cost.
