I put all our animal beds inside pillow cases and that way I just wash the cases weekly and febreeze the beds. I still wash the beds probably every 3 weeks but that's better than weekly as the beds last so much longer this way. I also never dry the beds, just air dry then run a 5 min air only cycle in the dryer to help get the remaining hair/dander off. This also helps the beds last much longer.

I searched up one of the beds I was interested in and found it was the same price on amzn.com/B07713RJFC/ [amzn.com]
"$56.00 discounted to 15.99" on Macy's. A lot of these are probably marked up as well just to make it look like it's a huge sale. Try searching up anything you're interested in before you make a purchase.

I bought several of these last time they were on sale to donate to our local shelter. These things seemed really cheaply made, like they were just quilting batting. They could. It be washed. I would not NOT buy these again.

we got the $6 bed a while ago for our cats. its pretty lightweight but the cats love it. we washed it once and it just about fell apart... its basically like a thick piece of fabric sewed to the bed shape... we ended up buying two other random cat beds at walmart for $6 on sale that are much better quality... we still have all 3 sitting together and the 3 cats use all 3

Purchased a cat bed before, but my cat prefers a shoe box. Even if it's too small. And once in it she will defend her box. These are nicer to look at, but she will sleep in or on anything else but these beds. My girlfriend's cat loved it. Soon as I brought it over he went right at it.
