Maybe it sounds like I'm being ungrateful so I'll throw a pitch in its favor - for browser redirects to malicious websites it does a far, far better job of protection than Microsoft Defender. A few years ago browser redirects were a common occurrence on Slickdeals:

Just keep looking on eBay. There are several sellers. I'm not going to do the work for you. But the fact is that there are better options. And if you pay with PayPal you will be protected. Many of those sellers have 0 reviews because eBay suspended their accounts due to policy violations as eBay doesn't like sellers to sell used software licenses and they created new users to keep selling. But as always you have to use your own judgment.
And account is new (2021) and the seller is in Spain? Seems legit. 🙄

Use your own judgment as always on eBay. But if you use PayPal you will be protected. Those sellers sell recycled software licenses and that's a eBay violation. Accounts are new as they create new accounts to keep selling and they are international as Malwarebytes use to sell lifetimes mainly overseas
