This is a good deal.
I would recommend calling around locally if you need a large quantity.
My wife called a farm up the road from us and they charge $20yd for garden soil (not screened) And $30/yd for screened soil (larger items like mulch are sifted out).
I had good luck last year planting grass seed using screened soil.
The miracle grow comes out to $72 / yd vs $30 if I buy locally. I'm so close they waive the delivery, but if you have a pickup it may work for some. (Farm also doesn't charge me tax 🤫)
Again, this is a good deal, but I would call around if you need more that 10 bags or so. I'm sure location matters, Im in NJ and happen to be close to a lot of farm.
I will add the convenience of transporting bags vs having to shovel into a cart and dump should not be ignored. Very easy to toss a bag into the garden bed, cut open and dump.

You would want to mix it with some perlite or topsoil (depending on what your topsoil is like) before doing so to improve drainage, otherwise your plants' roots will probably start to rot. Possibility of non-sterile material in this as well, which means potential for weed seeds, pest eggs/larvae, and fungus spores. Possibility of seedling damping off as well. Earlier comments said that they found this had a good amount of large woodchips in it, which is just filler, and not something you'd want to plant seeds in, as the weak seedling roots would have a hard time growing.
Woodchips can effectively be free, a lot of cities nowadays have free compost or mulch programs when you can just bring your own container and load up on woodchips. This is helpful if you have large pots (think 10+ gallons) and want to fill up the bottom 25-50% with woodchips so you're not wasting too much expensive mix.
I live up in the Central Coast and you can get mulch from the cities extremely cheap, maybe free.
Only thing is you have to get 14 yards. One of my neighbors did, and everyone came by with shovels and wheelbarrows.
