To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

I have the

$40 Simply Prepaid 10GB LTE plan, will I be switched automatically to unlimited plan or am I stuck with this shitty ass plan?

I have an Iphone 7 plus, so basically all you have to do is go to Tmobile to get the Iphone 12 for half the price, my question is, would they want to get me on a credit plan or can I keep my prepaid plan while doing the iphone trade?

I paid off a S10+ and still had the bill credits come in. Went to a Note 20 Ultra when it came out and no issues for me.

No...

Tmobile "will not allow you to pay off the phone early" so for you to get 24 months of credits, you need to be charged 24 months.

Tmobile will not unlock a phone unless it is paid off.... It's a CATCH 22. If you pay off the phone early, you lose the monthly credits and if you want the phone unlocked it needs to be paid off in full. This is my understanding.

The 40 day thing is if you buy a phone outright from Tmobile... then they will not unlock the phone until 40 days.
Disagree, Real world experience here.

Have two phones still on EIP and are unlocked. I called and requested them that I am flying out of country and would like to use it there which was true. The only criteria they checked was if the phones were active on their network for 40 days.

I also paid off the phones on other two lines which had EIP since I wanted to sell it and I am still getting bill credits on those. I am sorry to hear you got screwed and had to fight over it to get the bill credits. Most reps on twitter or facebook messenger will help resolve it. Always had good experience with them.

If you pay off the phones and you quit tmobile you essentially are not getting the bill credits (in this case iphone12 for free after 24 months) , so I don't see a point why they would not let you pay off the phone early.

I don't work for Tmobile.

But, my understanding is that if you pay off the phone early they will NOT give you any more monthly credits.

TRUE STORY.... so I had a OnePlus 6T... got some kind of tmobile promo and got 24 months of bill credits. Just before I was billed for the very last month I jumped onto the Samsung 20 people's edition and I said, my last credit is going to be billed in 5 days but this promo will end in two days... can I pay off my 6T in full and still receive my last bill credit and trade in that phone for the Samsung S20 FE 5G?... They said yes. SURE ENOUGH, I was not given my last monthly credit... had to bitch and complain to get it but it was not easy. They told me if you pay off your phone early you loose your monthly credits.
Your understanding is incorrect. You can payoff the EIP and still receive the credits. Just don't cancel the line the EIP is on. I've done it several times and have had no issues with receiving the credits.

If they mention taking old flip phones then they'll take your old trackphone.

I bought a OnePlus 7T last year, paid it off early to get it unlocked and to sell it, and I'm still getting my monthly credits. It's a shame you somehow lost your last credit but there have been *many* confirmations that you will still receive device credits if you pay off your phone early.

my iphone 7 plus has a crack screen, should I fix this? probably $80 to have it fixed by non apple store, just so I can get an iphone 12 at half the price? lol

im still gonna pay like $450 for the iphone 12 and is a locked phone, does this trade in require you to switch to a 2 year credit plan?

I NEED TO KNOW THIS

If it require a contract plan, screw that, you might as well keep the old iphone and buy a used one for a similar price and unlocked from Gazelle

Tried doing this today for two iPhone SE 2020, but just noticed it's not a go until April 18. Not bad though when it's active, I can get $415 which is basically what I paid for my iPhone SE last summer

I don't remember seeing a TMo deal where they accept cracked screens. There were some deals straight through Samsung that would give you a reduced value for a phone like that, but not directly through TMo.
