To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Haha, I agree, not an original Nobel Prize category, but rather an added Award in his honor that surely holds similar prestige now. . .but hoping he wouldn't share his net bill globally less we are closer to low bill fallout lol.
I have a "very" similar net bill to him, minus the phone EIP bill credits part actually lowering the bill further rather than just cancelling out the EIP charges. . . haven't figured that part out yet but still happy with my bill total.

Not really an illusion for everyone if you are smart and play your cards right with tmob promos. Free is free if you plan on staying with Tmobile. I switched from VERIZON years ago and never looked back. Trade in some junk if ya got it, or buy a trade in off CL or wherever. Get the $800 or $830 in bill credits..pay it off and flip phone if ya don't need it. Obviously you'll get a little less, but you'll still get the bill credits. Wife's got and Iphone 12 after trading in a 8 I bought for 150 and I got s21 ultra, 800 off, by turning in a phone with street value of about 150.

Working 5 past promos, my eip bill credits are about $38 more my eip payments on the 2 new phone we use. And I have a negative $500 balance. Basically eip equals minus $38 from my bill...the best part is the bill... grab those free lines....I recently joined the 9-12 line club, with hookup, my bill comes to $69 with netflix. for 9 lines, 4 paid,5 free. Then.... there are 4 kickbacks knocking atleast another $32 off. So now that my brings plan down to $37. Factor in my negative $38 eip and for the next 16 to 20 months I'll be are minus $1 a month with over $500 account credit. Even if I do nothing else, when BC's run off, I'll be back to paying $37/month....but with over $500 in credit, it'll be over 3 years before I have to pay. Beats handing verizon $250/month.
How did you manage to convert your account from 8 to 9-12? I contacted TM and I was told it can't be done unless I am willing to do a plan change. Mine is also grandfathered with 3 paid and 5 free lines with kickback enabled on 4, plus hookup and One Plus Promo.

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking here, if you paid off the phone you will still get the credits to the account.
Sorry I just had a stupid mental block. I couldn't wrap my head around what there was to pay off for a "free" phone but I get it now. For this A32 5G free phone offer, it'll be $11.75/mo charge and $11.75/mo credit netting a zero balance per month. So one could pay off whatever is left on the $282 balance for the value of the phone and then still receive $11.75/mo credit on the account for the balance of the 24 months, effectively lowering the monthly bill by that amount instead of a net zero bill effect.

The holy grail, circa Verizon old phone credits all over again, good timesBeer

But Tmo has this well covered. I'm proud to be a part of both moments in $D historynod
So true. And I think I will just dig 4 out of the box of Visible phone swap phones I got last year, if I can't find any more working tracfone Alcatel/Nokia $5 flippers I have. . .

If we upgrade iPhone 11 to iPhone 12, is the only out of pocket cost the taxes and SIM card fee?

I don't work for Tmobile.

But, my understanding is that if you pay off the phone early they will NOT give you any more monthly credits.

TRUE STORY.... so I had a OnePlus 6T... got some kind of tmobile promo and got 24 months of bill credits. Just before I was billed for the very last month I jumped onto the Samsung 20 people's edition and I said, my last credit is going to be billed in 5 days but this promo will end in two days... can I pay off my 6T in full and still receive my last bill credit and trade in that phone for the Samsung S20 FE 5G?... They said yes. SURE ENOUGH, I was not given my last monthly credit... had to bitch and complain to get it but it was not easy. They told me if you pay off your phone early you loose your monthly credits.atl
atleast that's now how it worked for me.
I bought 2 s21's on EIP and then paid it off to unlock and i get bill credits every month

The question is can you have 2 bill credits on 1 line? Your S21's credit and Galaxy A32 credit assuming you trade in old phone to get it for this same line?

I'm not sure what you're asking. For people who qualify for the free unlimited data upgrade, they would pay the same amount per month for the free upgrade that they're paying now. There have been many T-Mobile post-paid plans over the years with different options/features so there's not one single price that everyone pays. My post-paid family plan has 12 lines for $210 so $17.50/line (Magenta plan) but many people, especially those that were able to take advantage of the multiple recent free line offers, are doing much better on a per line cost.

Post-paid plans work on T-Mobile like they do with every carrier. You sign up for the plan and pay at the end of your monthly billing cycle.
Nothing much for me here. I have the tmobile one plan with unlimited hd stream free, not the 480p crap. 10 lines and i pay about 190ish. Also have all lines kickback but people on my family likes to use data over 2gb lol. Price also includeds netfilx 4 screen 4k. If i didnt have some many people in the plan (initially 12 lines) i would have had like 6 lines free or more by now.. oh well. Only one of my lines are free.
I used to have their 2.5gb simple choice but had to give that up for this plan with 20% off discount.
I gotta admit having taxes included makes the bill so simple. I dont fight with the carrier to get my money back anymore. Every month is consistant.

This deal for the A32 in general should be considered a loss leader for them to promote 5G for all, though that actually means 5G access for all accounts, limit 4 per. They will get many $5 flip phones from us, and many much more valuable phones in trade from the other 95%+ of the population.

It's a loss leader offer. . .but they are hoping for most people to at least trade in a $100+ valued phone. . .we however know to trade in a $5 phone lol

there r precious metal u can recycle from the phone, like gold, etc. most importantly, the one choose to trade in most likely will stay with tmobile for another 24 months, tmo will not lose subscribers to the rival.
