To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

I have 9 lines total, (3 of them have unlimited data $20/mo)

Is it advised not to touch it?

***UPDATE*****

I just spoke to T-force, they told me if i touched those lines with the $20/data -- I would not qualify for unlimited data on that line.

The announcement was made April 7th, and if the lines were touched on that date, you would not qualify. This really sucks, unless I cancel my line, and port my # to another line lol (since i have 9 lines)

I did. Sorry took a while to find it. But I got an rep to give me unlimited data with 6Gb HS for $0. I tried for yours, if you had the 10Gb HS one, but she said that was for Simple Choice only and even tho I have Select Choice, its wasn't an option. I tried to say, well an T-Mobile Rep at the store claimed its was for select choice but its a no go. But she took an hour and tried other old SOC codes, and finally said the other one, I mention worked, and she would monitor my account to make sure its sticks. If true, then $20 for unlimited everything is AMAZING! Thanks you Smilie
*Nevermind. Posted before reading your follow up comments.

Awesome! im glad something stuck. just to clarify, the unlimited highspeed data + 10gb hotspot (soc 10sfmgb) didn't work? I find it strange/interesting if she "claims" its only applicable to simple choice as im 100% select choice. Either way, glad you got $0 unlimited highspeed data + hotspot.

I am trying to trade-in old moto g for A32, it is showing zero value and there is no promo showing up for getting it for free. Did I miss anything?
For these trade-in promotions, there are two values you should be aware of. The trade-in value of your phone (in this case, the $0 for your Moto g) and the promotional value (in this case, the $282 cost for the A32 5G). FYI, this is just what I call them and I don't know if that's what they're called officially.
If you're checking the trade-in value on the TMobile website, it will almost always be less than the promotional value as that's what your phone is currently "worth."

Because their announcement gave them the opportunity to make right something I was promised by one of their representatives at the end of last year. When I asked them to honor the deal I was told their "system" had no way to give free unlimited to old lines. Now that there was a way with what is starting on the 18th, they could have allowed me to drop the $20/month add-on. But instead I get the same excuse. The system won't allow it, and if you do drop it, your whole account becomes ineligible (which is NOT what T-Force said at all, just the LINE becomes ineligible). I'm just really disappointed in T-Mobile after so many years with them that they'd go out of their way to screw their old customer.
What do you mean the system won't allow it? Lol it's not April 18th buddy. Also the system will let you drop it. I did. The rep didn't mention anything. Why do you assume a $12 an hour rep has any clue as to what's going on. Read the fine print. The "Line" not the data has to be active before April 7th 2021. They won't allow you to add an extra line and get it. But data has nothing to do with it.

I get it. They're a business and their goal is to maximize profits. Letting me downgrade and get something while paying less goes against their interest. It just motivates me more to try to find ways to extract more value from them. You better believe I'm trading in 4 $5 phones for A32s and selling them after this incident.

I hope you're right! When I asked the person who called me if I could ask their supervisor, she said it was Mike Sievert (CEO) himself. Not that I believe that, but you'd think the high level rep would be well informed. This was not a regular rep. Time will tell!

Why are you even asking them about this? Lol chill out. Drop the data on that line to free and wait till the 18th. There is no way 9 lines of mine that had the 4gb free before I droped my 1 line from unlimited down to free would disqualify the entire plan. Lol.

Also they don't talk to the CEO. He doesn't have time for that. Don't ever trust that. They are hoping people don't drop it cause they want that extra money.
