To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

You had to have a limited data plan as of a certain date to qualify. I can't remember the exact date for sure, but I'd bet it was before the announcement was made.
Correct, it was for people that was paying for unlimited on a few lines, it was really important to drop those. I remember there was a guy on here that refused to do it, bet he's kicking himself now.

Yep. I told everyone to drop it like me and nobody listened.
Me too, I told everyone to drop it and one guy was even fighting me about it. Guess he get's to enjoy paying $20 a month forever now.

Just went to the store after tmobile app rep wasn't sure about water sticker. She credited me the $20 in store fee.

The store had 2 teenage employees who didn't know or care about anything. She didn't even look at the phone nor could answer anything. Basically said we just mail them and they check and verify the phones. So if this is true there isn't much point to go to store unless need the A32 asap.

Looking at the paperwork.. there is no mention of this promo or code. Just the taxes and store fee I paid upfront. The rest just shows the eip amount but no mention of credits back or anything. This normal? I don't trust the store reps at all that they did this right
This incorrect, when trade is submitted in store and they accept it and hand you the new phone you are done, don't worry about the paperwork, just chat with Tforce and have them set it to you in writing that you will receive credits.

Unless they are mailing you the new phone and you are mailing the tradein device then you are still on the hook for the tradein.

I have tried to find the answer but couldn't find it. What is the deal with the free unlimited data upgrade? We get 2g high speed data with the Simple Choice North America: Unlimited Talk & Text. Does that qualify? Is it for unlimited high speed or just the slower data? Thanks for any help!
The official answer on who qualifies:

"Who is eligible for the Free 5G Upgrade offer?

AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile (including Sprint) customers on limited data postpaid smartphone plans."

Technically, T-Mobile considers their throttled data plans to be unlimited and I would be extremely surprised if they're giving everyone unlimited, *unthrottled* data.

Note: They know very well that it sounds good to say they're giving everyone 5G data, but only a small percentage of their customers will have devices capable of those speeds.

I did four EIP/Trade in promotions in the past three months. If you plan to do A32 promo, here are my experience.

1. At T-Mobile store. Pro is your get phone immediately and drop off your old phone there. You can ask sales rep to look at your old questionable phone. Con is you may need to pay $20 assisted and upgrade fee. You can try to get it waive but it is harder to get the fee waive with cheap phone.
2. At T-Mobile online store, you are likely need to pay for $6.99 shipping fee. Free 2 day promo is for new line only. Phone will be shipped to your home and you will need to ship your old phone. It is also not clear if the promotion would be applied to your order. Compared to physical store, you save $20-6.99=$13. This is actually my least favorite.
3. You can place order with TForce or in app chat. It is the same as online store but you will have easier time get $20 upgrade fee and shipping fee waived. I always started with I have problem with online store because I don't know if promotion will be applied. I also mention free shipping promo.
4. Costco. Costco offers all T-mobile's EIP promo. I talked to sales rep, he said EIP promo can be complicated. Some sales reps don't like to do it so they just tell you they don't offer. The phone will ship from Costco's own warehouse and the order will not show on your T-Mobile account. It is hard to track your order. You will get preprint label that you need to ship your old phone. You don't have to pay for shipping and upgrade fee. Costco also offers $30 rebate for every EIP.

I ordered once with TForce and once with in App chat. I would do it again if I have time to wait for them to respond.

I ordered twice with Costco without any problem. I would do it again if my old is in good condition. I like that I don't have to ask them to waive the fees and I am sure the promotion will be applied. I also got $30 cash rebate after 8 weeks.
If we go for Costco to get A32, will we get the credit once we mail in the trade in?

T-Mobile only has the promo currently scheduled until the end of 2021.
I'm saying can you have two bill credits if you take advantage of upgrades in the future. I imagine they will have the same promo for the IPHONE 13.

Will a Nokia express music qualify? It's value is zero, does the phone need to be at least worth a dollar?

I went into a store today and the employees were confused as to how the unlimited data worked. My son has the basic 2gb pack on his phone but in store he was getting full speed even though he was over his allotment this month.....

Just to be clear on this deal. I called TMO; the rep said I would get $415 trade-in for my iphone X. Should I also get a discount on the iphone 12 pro? Reg price is $999 (128GB). So the math he gave me is $999-415=$584. Monthly is $24.33 ($584/24). I was under the impression that I should get half off on ANY iphone 12 with trade in. Is this true or not? TIA.
